a, it's fine, send returns to : Läderspecialisten, Stillmansgatan 9, 212 25 Malmö . As soon as we receive the return, we will credit your payment via the same method you paid.

Almost every product in our webshop is in stock (except for sold-out products, as well as some products that are sent directly from the supplier, so-called dropship). This means that we ship the same day the order is received, or the next day if the order is received in the afternoon/evening. We use Postnord for our deliveries, either Mypac or Mypac Small (smaller packages that go in the mailbox). You can also choose company shipping if you want delivery directly to your company. It usually takes 1-2 days before your order is either in your mailbox, or at Postnord's agent or parcel box.

We use Klarna Checkout, which means that invoice payment is pre-selected and that Klarna also handles card payments and direct bank payments. When you click "Complete purchase" at the checkout, a page with a green checkmark will appear that says "Thank you for your purchase!". At the bottom of this page it says "Do you want to change payment method?" Click on the link there and a page will appear where you can choose card payment or direct bank payment.

You can also pay with Swish. The amount is deducted directly from your Swish account without going through Klarna.

We send smaller packages, up to 1 kg, as cargo letters with Posten and these are delivered to you if you have a mailbox that your order goes into. If it does not, it will be left at the Posten delivery point closest to your specified address. You will receive an SMS notification when the package has arrived at the delivery point (or email notification if you do not have a mobile phone). Orders that weigh more than 1 kg or are bulky, i.e. do not meet Posten's requirements for how large a cargo letter can be, are sent with Schenker and these orders are collected from Schenker delivery agents.

No, we only ship as a commercial letter with Posten, or with Schenker (larger packages). If you do not want to pay online, you can receive an invoice via Klarna, or pay with Swish.

Questions about our products:

Yes, it is okay to use a sponge when applying the leather dye. You can also buy an airbrush and connect it to a spray can with compressed air. One spray can with compressed air is enough for about a sofa. Available in our webshop under "Tools & Aids".

To do a good job, proper cleaning and preparation of the leather is essential. Otherwise, the paint will not stick to the leather, but to the dirt, which will lead to the paint coming off when you clean it in the future. A cleaning with e.g. Ultra Clean is always recommended beforehand. See more in our "Guide to repainting a sofa" . A final Finish to seal the paint and give the right shine to the leather is also recommended. This increases the durability and gives the sofa's surface the right appearance (glossy, satin or matte).

Aniline does not have a color or finish on top of the leather's surface, it is a soft, dyed leather of the highest quality. It is most often brown/cognac/undyed/natural, but it is also available in other colors, such as black/green/etc.

If you have aniline, you usually don't want to dye with regular leather dye, because you then miss out on the natural color changes and the softness and luster that this type of leather has. When you dye with leather dye, you get a full-color surface, i.e. the color and finish are on top of the leather's surface. If you have naturally colored or brown aniline leather, you rarely want to "ruin" it by dyeing it in a solid leather color, even if the leather is quite discolored. But in some cases, if stains are of such a nature that they cannot be removed, and are really ugly, there may be no alternative to redyeing. The leather will not be destroyed. However, the leather will be a little less soft and smooth, the surface will be like a sofa in full-color/pigmented leather, or like a car upholstery in leather. You have to make a trade-off, do you want it to be nice or do you want it to be soft. Then everything is relative, the leather doesn't become hard and uncomfortable after dyeing, but if you compare it to aniline, there is a difference.

Furniture Clinic's leather paints are specially designed for leather, they penetrate the pores and stick to it. Leather paint does not adhere well to artificial leather ("faux leather, skye, vinyl, fake leather, dear child has many names), which is a type of plastic with a completely different surface and adhesion than leather. Artificial leather has a smooth and often slightly "oily" surface. You can use an adhesion promoter to increase the adhesion of the paint. But there is always a risk that the paint will come off if it is exposed to stress, e.g. if you paint a sofa cushion and then sit on it. We also have another leather paint from the American Viper Products, which is designed to adhere to artificial leather, plastic and vinyl, you can find it among our products for artificial leather and vinyl .

We have developed a kit that contains everything you need to do a color treatment. It is available in three sizes:

- Small leather dyeing kit ; enough for small areas such as a sofa cushion, the step of a car seat, etc. - Medium leather dyeing kit ; estimated to be enough for an armchair, or a front seat in a car. - Large leather dyeing kit; enough for about a three-seater sofa, or two front seats in a car interior. - Large car interior restoration kit , which contains everything needed to dye an entire car interior, including the back seat and door panels.

Our leather filler Flexifil  is excellent for this purpose. It is also possible to drop a little leather dye ( Leather Colourant ) into the putty to get the right color. We also have a guide on what to do if the damage from cat claws is more serious. You can find the guide here.

The first thing you should do is a thorough cleaning with Ultra Clean . After that, we would recommend that you lubricate the sofa with Leather Revive softener, which softens the leather. Finally, finish with Leather Protection Cream to protect against future soiling.

Our Odour & Urine Remover cleaner is specially formulated to neutralize stains and odors from "accidents" on leather and textiles, replacing them with a fresh citrus scent.

HC stands for "High Concentrate" and LC for "Low Concentrate", and it refers to the pigmentation in the leather dye. If you want to dye leather black, you use the leather dye with a lot of pigment, HC. However, if you want to mix the black dye with other shades of leather dye, you use LC, this is because HC has so much pigment that if you are not careful, it "takes over" most of what you mix it with.

The most common mistake is not cleaning the leather properly. If there is dirt and/or old grease and wax on the leather, the paint will not adhere as well. Therefore, cleaning is essential for a good result. Ultra Clean leather cleaner removes most dirt, Alcohol Cleaner removes grease, wax and other things that Ultra Clean does not dissolve.

Another reason why the paint does not stick may be that it is not real leather, but artificial leather (skye, vinyl, faux, dear child has many names). Artificial leather can be difficult to distinguish from real leather, but is a type of plastic, and to get the leather paint to stick to this surface, you first clean it thoroughly as above, then apply a primer, Adhesion Promoter , before applying the leather paint.

Yes, that's fine. For example, if you have a small piece of leather (approx. 2x2 cm minimum) that has the shade you want mixed, put it in an envelope and address it to: Läderspecialisten, Stillmansgatan 9, 212 25 Malmö. Don't forget to include your contact information.

Yes, we have a softener for vinyl and synthetic leather, Viper Vinyl Conditioner , you can find it in the category for Vinyl & Synthetic Leather .

The pigmented/dyed conditioner is only for aniline and similar leather types that do not have a protective surface finish. If the leather has some kind of finish, the conditioner cannot penetrate the leather, but instead settles on the surface of the leather. There, it can stain clothes and the like, especially if it gets wet. In your case, I suspect that it is not aniline leather, your armchair has some kind of surface finish, and the conditioner has therefore not penetrated properly. The colored conditioner is simply the wrong product to dye your armchair.

You can test whether the leather can absorb the colored conditioner by placing a drop of water on top of the leather's surface; if the drop of water immediately penetrates the leather, the colored conditioner will also work. However, if the drop of water remains as a bead on top of the leather, it has some kind of surface finish and the colored conditioner will not be able to penetrate properly.
