Suede is a little different to clean than regular leather. The most important tool is a good suede brush, complemented by a detergent
Here's how to do it:
1. Use Use the suede brush to brush the surface of the suede. Brush evenly in one direction. This will raise the suede fibers and remove any loose dust and dirt that collects between them.
2. Spray the cleaner onto a sponge or cloth and then rub the cleaner into the surface. Pay particular attention to stains to remove them. Then allow to dry thoroughly at room temperature.
3. When the leather is dry, repeat step 1; brush again with the suede brush in one direction to raise the suede fibers and make the surface smooth and fine.
4. Once this is done, it is beneficial to protect the suede surface against future soiling and staining by applying protective impregnation for suede & nubuck.
